Welcome!

My introduction into the world of lay ministry began, as does for many, as a catechist of the faith for my children. Over the years, I have felt the call to give my “time and talents” to other parish ministries. Currently, I lead the Children’s Liturgy of the Word,  facilitate for the Child Abuse Protection program (VIRTUS), coordinate the altar servers, serve as a catechist, and as a Eucharistic minister for mass and the nursing homes. I can honestly say that each of these ministries has been a blessing in my life!  As the daughter and granddaughter of educators I come by the passion to inspire the love of learning naturally. Likewise, due to the fluid nature of ministry, I am always looking for ways to meet and reach others where they are at…which is often in activities, retreats, and settings outside the classroom.  Thank you for joining me in this journey-

  1. I read your beautiful baptism story and know that you must have a conversion story to tell about how you entered the Catholic Church. On JoyAlive.net I collect conversion stories. Look under the tab: Joy Stories and you will see a variety of blog posts from converts. Let’s connect about the possibiity of adding your converstion story to JoyAlive.net. I’m at editor@joyalive.net.
